LEADERSHIP
“I think we need the feminine qualities of leadership, which include attention to aesthetics and the environment, nurturing, affection, intuition and the qualities that make people feel safe and cared for.” – Deepak Chopra
We lack leadership capable of striking out on new paths and meeting the needs of the present with concern for all and without prejudice towards coming generations. (Pope Francis, LS #53)

“Remember your leaders who taught you the word of God. Consider their end and imitate their faith.” (Psalm 95:3-5, Christian Community Bible)
REFLECTION: Basically, to lead is to serve, and this sense of service must always lead us towards the betterment of all creation. God wants us to influence and guide others by recognizing these creations that touch lives and influence everyone to become the best person they could be. We should be one with God’s creation, and the leader must remind his/her people to make the world a better place to live in. A leader must encourage us to take good care of nature and must inspire us to nurture everything in creation. Through good leadership, our nature can be protected, promoted, and preserved.
Key Statement: A leader must encourage us to take good care of nature and must inspire us to nurture everything in creation.
Personal Challenge: That leadership has an important role in protecting and caring the environment.
PRAYER
God of guidance, we lift up to You all our civil and religious leaders that they may be given the wisdom to allocate our natural resources and monitor their status. We thank You for sending us leaders who are called to serve us faithfully. We continue to pray that our leaders may be granted the wisdom to work with nature, not against it; to rebuild, not to destroy the cycle of life. Amen.
