ORDER OF NATURE
“The whole order of nature evinces a progressive march towards a higher life.” – Helena Blavatsky
“Each creature possesses its own particular goodness and perfection… Each of the various creatures, willed in its own being, reflects in its own way a ray of God’s infinite wisdom and goodness. Man must therefore respect the particular goodness of every creature, to avoid any disordered use of things”. (Pope Francis, LS #69)
REFLECTION: God created nature and all creations in the state of order. Therefore, human beings are expected with responsibilities not only to protect and care for the nature, but also for the promotion of the order of nature. The order of nature is very important since it helps us live our life with security. The order of nature helps preserve and protect our nature itself. On the one hand, if there is order, the environment will prosper and peace will follow. But on the other hand, if there is no order in nature, it will be dangerous and all the creations of God will be destroyed.
Key Statement: Human beings are expected to promote the order of nature.
Personal Challenge: I have the responsibility to maintain and sustain the order of nature.
God of order, we acknowledge that You have given us such order of nature that makes the whole creation beautiful. Forgive us when we interfere with the balance of Your creation by our abuse and misuse of its resources. Show us the best way to sustain the order of nature and not to distort or disturb its interconnectedness. Amen.
